| This march is a form of resistance. First Nations people gather in Vancouver to assert their presence, to assert their voice. They come together with their allies to assert a “reconstitution of community and the particular” (Lash and Urry in Phillips 2000:191). They write on the street. They speak to the city. They speak to me.
